Installing Android SDK Command-line tools from Android SDK Manager did the job for me.

5. Check Android SDK Command-line tools and click ‘apply’.

Method 2

May be you still not have Java install on your computer. So install java from https://www.oracle.com/java/technologies/javase/javase-jdk8-downloads.html

After check for your JAVA_HOME path under System Variables it should be like:

C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_291
(no semi-colon and no \bin)

restart terminal and try again with:

 flutter doctor --android-licenses

By default, you can disable the WordPress admin bar for any user from the dashboard. But that method can take time if you have a large number of registered users on your site.

In this article, we will show you how to disable/hide the WordPress admin bar for all users except administrators.

What is the WordPress Admin Bar?

By default, WordPress displays the admin bar on the top for all logged-in users. This admin toolbar is visible in the WordPress admin area, as well as all other pages when you are logged in.

The WordPress admin toolbar contains useful shortcuts to different WordPress sections. The shortcuts available in the admin bar change based on user’s role and permissions in WordPress.

However, when viewing the public pages on the front-end of your website, the admin bar can be a bit distracting. It may also affect your website’s design and user experience.

Luckily, there are multiple ways to easily disable the WordPress admin bar for all users except administrators.

Method 1. Disabling The WordPress Admin Bar for Any User

WordPress allows each user to disable the admin bar by simply editing their user profile. As a site owner, you can also edit other user’s profiles and disable the admin bar for them.

If you want to disable the admin bar for any particular user in WordPress, you’ll need to edit their user profile.

Simply go to the Users » All Users page and then click on the ‘edit’ link for any user you want to disable the admin bar for.

This will bring you to the user profile editor page. From here, uncheck the box next to the ‘Show toolbar when viewing site’ option.

Scroll down and click the ‘Update User’ button to save your changes.

This will disable the admin bar for that particular user when they visit the website.

If you have a handful of users, then you can go ahead and manually disable the admin bar for all of them. However, if you run a membership site with a lot of users, then this method wouldn’t work.

Luckily, there are other ways to quickly disable the admin bar for all users except administrators.

Method 2. Disable Admin Bar for All Users Except Admins with a Plugin

This method allows you to quickly disable the WordPress admin for all users.

First, you need to install and activate the Hide Admin Bar Based on User Roles plugin. For more details, see our step by step guide on how to install a WordPress plugin.

Upon activation, go to the Settings » Hide Admin Bar Settings page. From here, check the boxes next to the user roles where you want to disable the admin bar.

Don’t forget to click on the ‘Save Changes’ button to store your settings.

Method 3. Disable Admin Bar for All Users Except Administrators Using Code

This method requires you to add code to your WordPress theme files. If you have not done this before, then check out our guide on how to copy and paste code snippets in WordPress.

Simply add the following code to your theme’s functions.php file or a site-specific plugin.

What if you wanted to disable the admin bar for all users including yourself and any other administrator on your site?

You can do this by modifying the code we showed earlier.

Simply add the following code to your theme’s functions.php file or a site-specific plugin.

History of Binance

It was launched in July 2017 in China following an initial coin offering (ICO) that raised $15 million from investors, who received the native Binance Coin (BNB) in exchange for their capital. Key figures at the company are its founders, Changpeng Zhao and Yi He.

In 2017, the team moved its operations to Japan as China imposed a ban on cryptocurrency trading. The following year, Changpeng Zhao and the team opened offices in Taiwan, later announcing it was shifting base to the crypto-friendly EU state of Malta.

In 2020, Maltese authorities said that the exchange did not have regulatory approval to operate in the country.

The company completed a hat trick of acquisitions in 2019 and 2020. It acquired WazirX, the largest crypto exchange in India; then followed that up with analytics firm DappReview, and netted CoinMarketCap in a reported $400m acquisition.

Today, the exchange platform has registered over 15 million users, with its average daily trading volume hitting over $2 billion. The company website and businesses are accessible in multiple languages, including Chinese, English, Japanese, French, and Turkish among others.

Regulation and Security

Binance is a centralized cryptocurrency exchange, largely unregulated though the company has recently begun working closely with regulatory authorities in the US and UK. In June 2020, the company announced the launch of Binance UK, an FCA-regulated affiliate the exchange has earmarked for the UK and European investors. A US leg was also launched in 2020.

Security is a key feature of the ecosystem, and the company boasts a fairly solid score on this feature. However, it should be noted that the exchange suffered a security breach in May 2019 that resulted in the loss of 7000 Bitcoins after hackers compromised several user accounts. The exchange moved quickly to strengthen its security and created SAFU (Secure Asset Fund for Users) which is set aside from exchange fees to settle compensations in case of such losses.

The exchange also uses AI and cyber forensics to monitor exchange activities and Universal 2nd Factor (U2F) to authenticate transactions. Users, on the other hand, have access to a 2 step authentication or two-factor authentication (2FA) process.

Is Binance Safe?

It’s never going to be said in absolute terms that this or that cryptocurrency exchange is impenetrable. Like many of the top exchange platforms in the space, it is doing everything to ensure user funds are safe.

I’d say that, despite an earlier breach, it currently is one of those crypto platforms with the most robust security measures. The exchange’s wallets are secured with the latest technology, and its SAFU initiative provides a safety net.

The company has also ensured its users adhere to security protocols, including fulfilling KYC requirements before trading on the platform. If you are looking for a cryptocurrency exchange that you can use with a lot more confidence, then Binance should be on that list.

Reputation

The reputation that it has achieved comes from the excellent team at its core, not least with figures like Changpeng Zhao who are highly respected in the industry. The platform has also continued to innovate and develop, offering a variety of products that users want in the crypto market.

Even when it got hacked in 2019, the quick action and establishment of SAFU to cover all the losses provided a massive reassurance to the platform’s large user base.

Every Chrome extension that you install on your computer is actually constructed out of a special zip file that contains files and folders of Javascript code and other resources. The great thing is that you can actually look into the source code of an extension and see what it is really doing.

The problem with browser extensions is that so many of them are spying on you, inserting ads into your browser, or doing all sorts of other nefarious things. So if you want to check into the source code yourself, these are the two easy ways to do that.

Luckily there’s even a way to see the source code of an extension before you install it, although sadly that way requires installing an extension. Keep reading for all the details.

Find a Chrome Extension Source Code on Your Hard Drive

The first method is used to view the source code of extensions that are currently installed in your Google Chrome Browser. Begin by navigating to the “chrome://extensions/” page. Alternatively, you can click on the three horizontal bars on the top right of the Chrome window and then click on the “More tools” option then click on “Extensions”.

Now that you are on your extensions page, you will need to tick the checkbox on the top right of the page that says “Developer mode” and find the ID for the extension you want the source code for. For the purposes of this demonstration, we will use the ID for “AdBlock” which is “ID: gighmmpiobklfepjocnamgkkbiglidom”

Now that you know the ID of the extension, you will need to open Windows explorer by opening any folder or pressing the “Windows button” and “E” at the same time.

Once there, type in the following into the location bar:

Now you’ll need to navigate down through the folders like this: Google -> Chrome -> User Data -> Profile -> Extensions. In some cases your Profile folder might be called something different like Profile 1, so just keep that in mind as you browse down.

Once you are there, you should be able to see a bunch of folders with really long names, and one of them will match the extension ID you are looking for.

Once you enter this folder, you should see another folder titled with the version of the extension. Simply double click on that icon again to see all the files and folders associated with your extension’s source code.

Using the Chrome Extension Source Code Viewer

In this method, you will need to download this extension that allows you to view the source code or CRX file for any extension in the Google Web Store.

Once the extension has been installed, you should see a popup confirmation dialog like the one below.

Now that it is installed, you can go into the Google Chrome Web Store and view the source code of any app. Just click on the yellow icon in the location bar and you’ll be given a choice to either download the file as a zip file or view it online.

If you download as a zip file, you can just unzip the file and view it using any regular text file viewer. Alternatively, if you decide to view the source code online, you will see something more along these lines in a new Chrome Tab.

That’s all there is to it.

Google Chrome is my default browser like millions of other users and I am actually happy with it. But if you open the Task Manager, you may be surprised to see many Google Chrome processes running. I could see 18 running even though I had opened only in one single window with 4 tabs. This is because Chrome opens a separate process for each of its tab, extension, tab and, subframe. This obviously used a good amount of RAM and other resources in our PC.

Why does Chrome run multiple processes?

Before we proceed with the fix, we first need to learn why Google runs multiple processes even for a single-window open. So this is basically a default setting in Chrome that runs multiple processes for each tab, utility, and extension. Chrome does this to avoid any data loss if any of your tabs crash. While Windows Task Manager will only show chrome.exe running, you can check the details in Chrome Task Manager. Check the screenshot below, it shows that Google Chrome runs a separate process for each of its utility and extensions too.

How to Stop multiple Chrome processes from running in Windows 10?

To reduce or stop multiple Chrome processes from running on your Windows 10 PC, try the following suggestions:

• Change Chrome.exe target
• End tasks manually via Chrome Task Manager
• Close idle tabs
• Remove unwanted extensions
• End apps running in the background

Change Chrome.exe target

Since it is a default setting in Chrome, which means it is configured to run multiple processes for each tab, utility and extension. We can stop this by changing the configuration. This will require admin access.

To make Chrome display a single process in the Task Manager:

• Go to Chrome shortcut on your Desktop
• Right-click and select Properties.
• Go to the Target option
• Add –process-per-site command at the end
• Make sure you leave a space before you type this command.

The path you can copy-paste is:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" --process-per-site

Now use this shortcut to run Chrome always.

End tasks manually via Chrome Task Manager

You can end the tasks manually. Remember to do this via Chrome Task Manager wherein you can see which processes are running and which of those you want to end.

To launch Chrome Task Manager press Shift+Esc keys on your keyboard or you can go via Settings > More tools > Task Manager.

Select the task you want to terminate and click on End process.

Close idle tabs

We often keep the idle tabs also open while working and mind it each tab has its own process running on your PC and using the RAM.

To fix this issue of Chrome running multiple processes, make sure you close the idle and unwanted tabs.

Remove unwanted extensions

As we noticed in the Chrome Task Manager, every extension and plugin has its own separate process running on your PC.

It would be a good idea to remove the unwanted extensions and plugins installed on your browser. We often tend to download and install an extension when required but often forget to remove it when not required anymore. Remember that even though you are not using that extension Chrome is still running a separate process for it.

End apps running in the background

Google Chrome runs the web apps and installed extensions in the background even when it is closed and they run unless you end them manually.

• To end the apps running in the background, go to Settings.
• Click on ‘Advanced’ from the left panel
• Under the ‘System’ tab, you will see a box saying: Continue running background apps when Google Chrome is closed
• Uncheck this box.

These methods should reduce or end the multiple processes running on your PC. Do let us know if they worked for you.

I recently updated my WordPress from 5.7 to 5.8 but my theme was not updated to support 5.8. The only issue I ran into is it did not give me the option to change the template of my page anymore. This created issues because my theme uses templates to define its layout for each page. So I discovered a temporary workaround until my theme gets updated.

• Before you start you need to know your page id number. It will show up in your URL if you are not using custom permalinks.
• login into phpMyAdmin
• locate your WordPress database (you can select it in the sidebar or from the drop-down depending on your version)
• select the wp_postmeta table
• sort by post_id and locate your page id number.
• Under the meta_key column find the record that says wp_page_template
• hange the meta_value to the template of your choice. ( I changed mine from default to template_home.php which is the homepage template for my theme.

14. Click on Upgrade Database Now (Please note: Upgrade Database Needs To Be Clicked Once, No need to click after customizing the theme settings as it will reset the theme settings).

How to activate HostX with WHMCS?

Configure the add-on module with your WHMCS.

1. log in as WHMCS admin and then Go to Setup -> Addon Modules. Afterward, find WGS HostX and press Activate button.

2. Enter your module license key.

3. Enable/Disable to delete the DB module tables, when deactivating the module.

4. Assign user(s), who can access this module.
